My
name's Adam, I'm 30 and from the West Midlands
region of England in the UK. I've
been modelmaking and painting for around twenty years.Adam Bagley. Formerly Redditch, Worcestershire. I remember becoming
interested in the hobby by seeing my father's remote controlled
Tamiya miltary models in action around the back garden. Add
to this the heavy presence of models in films such as Star Wars and Jason and the Argonauts and TV series such as Doctor Who and Gerry Anderson's Captain Scarlet
and it's easy to see why I got hooked.
I've
come a long way since, learning through books, clubs and plenty of trial
and error. I'm always happy to share my knowledge with others and I'm still as keen as ever to learn new things
and to see how others approach their work. It's because of this that the HobbyShed modelling resource has been created with sharing in mind.
I hope you enjoy your time in the shed. Modeling.

Presenting
a selection of models, ranging from straight out the box model kits to completely scratch built pieces, which I hope will encourage and inspire your own work

Along with the likes of Spider-man, X-men, Captain America, Iron Man, The Fantastic Four and The Incredible Hulk, Ghost Rider is one of Marvel Comics more recognisable superheroes, especially since Nicolas Cage starred as Johnny Blaze in the Ghost Rider movie. Here I give details on how I made and painted Horizons Ghost Rider model.
Commanded by Steve Zodiac of the World Space Patrol, Fireball XL5 is a spaceship from the 1960s television series of the same name. By Gerry Anderson (he of Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds fame), the show featured amazing models and puppets such as the transparent robot co-pilot named Robert, masterfully recreated here in 1/6 scale by my father, George Bagley.
Eerily floating around the grim worlds of the popular science-fiction tabletop wargame Warhammer 40'000 by Games Workshop, the mysterious and macabre contraption that is the Servo Skull is promoted here from 28mm miniature scale to full life-sized model.
The pint-sized Jedi master is depicted here just as he appears to Luke Skywalker and droid R2-D2 on the swamp planet Degobah in science-fiction films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Model highlights include the addition of a scenic base and some sculpting and weathering work.
